Caterham Town Council

Caterham Town Council

Caterham on the Hill and Caterham Valley Parish Councils are proposing to merge and form a single Town Council for Caterham. Tandridge District Council, who run the process, are consulting residents right now — and your views really matter.

Survey link: TDC Consultation – Should Caterham have one town council?

The consultation takes 2 minutes and closes Friday 29th August 2025 so get involved!

Both parish councils are encouraging people to take part. It’s a rare chance to have a say on how our most local level of government is organised and how it works for us.

The Tandridge Liberal Democrats are very much  in favour, because Caterham residents already share the same parks, high streets, schools, and challenges. When Tandridge and Surrey County Councils (along with Mole Valley and others) merge into one unitary next year, a small community like Caterham will need a stronger, united voice to protect the things residents love about our area.

If you can, please also share this with friends and neighbours in Caterham. The more people who speak up, the stronger our voice will be.
