LibDems Demand Level Access at Upper Warlingham Station

The absence of level access to the southbound platform at Upper Warlingham, which means those unable to negotiate stairs cannot use it, is a longstanding deficiency at the station.
During the recent works to the bridge, level access on to Westhall Road was set up, but this has not been retained now the bridge is open again. This is unacceptable and the Parish Council has raised the matter with the train operator and our local MP.
Councillor Perry Chotai launched a petition demanding that level access be restored and made permanent which many people have signed and which has now been submitted to Govia Thameslink .
