Perry Chotai

Perry moved to Warlingham over 24 years ago, having spent over 20 years working In Switzerland for blue chip pharmaceutical companies. Perry has extensive business experience and particular expertise in change management. He has served as a Governor at Warlingham Village Primary School and as a District Councillor for Warlingham East, Chelsham and Farleigh since 2022, where he sits on the Planning and Strategy & Resources committees. He is also Vice Chair of Warlingham Parish Council, actively contributing to its activities including sitting on the Warlingham Green Improvement committee.

He is very keen to contribute his expertise to the new East Surrey Unitary Council especially in financial management and improving accountability and efficiency. With new proposals from central government which will affect Surrey, he believes his expertise and local knowledge will be very valuable in shaping strategies for Social Care.

He is also keen to continue to fight inappropriate planning developments which threaten the attractive character of our villages and countryside, protect and improve community facilities like Warlingham Library and the Bond Road Tip, and support local businesses in Warlingham, Woldingham and Tatsfield.
