Dog Walker Licences

Following the tragic incident at Caterham Viewpoint in January 2023, Tandridge District Council (TDC) is promoting dog walking licences to improve safety and responsible pet ownership. Displays in all TDC parks now provide information on how to check if your dog walker is registered. Cllr Jenny Gaffney said, “This initiative will help ensure that dog walkers are properly registered, contributing to a safer and more responsible community.”

Improvements Coming To Godstone Road Flats

Cllr Robin Spencer has been in conversation with TDC about building and ground maintenance at the social housing block on Godstone Road. TDC will trim the grass, repair the paths, and clean the fascias. These actions respond directly to concerns raised by local people and will help improve the appearance and upkeep of the area.

Croydon Road Improvements Almost Complete

“We’re all very pleased to see the traffic lights finally removed following the completion of the works on Croydon Road,” said Cllr Jenny Gaffney. These improvements were much needed, and we now look forward to seeing the benefits, particularly in preventing future flooding issues. The job isn’t done yet—your local Lib Dem councillors are now actively pressing Surrey to resurface the road too.
